Why do people come for counselling?
People access therapy for all sorts of reasons including: Anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, self-harm, panic, unwanted thoughts, family and relationship problems, divorce, bereavement, past issues, childhood abuse, addiction, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, confidence issues….to name but a few.
However, some people may just feel stuck, not sure why they are feeling the way they do, but know that something doesn’t feel right. Counselling can help you to clarify what making you feel the way you do.

You can also book in blocks of six sessions at a discounted price, please get in touch if you want to know more about this.
As it is important to find a counsellor you feel comfortable with and who is the right fit for you, I also offer a free consultation, so you can decide if you think working with me is the best option for you. During this session we can discuss what that might look like, and I can answer any questions you may have.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends entirely on yourself and the issues you bring to counselling. Some people come for just a few sessions and feel ready to stop whilst others may come for a year or so. This is something we can talk about and agree together and will become clearer as your counselling progresses.
